Shampoo & Conditioner

Proper use and care ensures that MASTERSONS paint brushes will provide consistent performance each time it is used, and equally important, will last a long time. Aside from keeping the paint on the bristles from drying during breaks, paint brushes must be cleaned after using.

Everyone who has used a paint brush knows that simply cleaning a paint brush after using will not restore the paint brush back to its original state prior to be used. The bristles will feel stiffer. Stiffer bristles degrade the quality of surface painting finishes. The more traces of paints that remains on the bristles, the shorter the life span of the paint brush.

To bring a paint brush as close as possible to its original state, the best way is to use detergents to clean a paint brush. After washing with detergents, apply shampoo with conditioner or just conditioner and massage the bristles for a moment before rinsing and drying. Once dry, wrap the paint brush with its original packaging, or with the use of old newspaper for storage.

The idea is that a paint brush should be ready to use the next time it is needed.
